We are responsible for the Museum and its Library, that welcomes vistors and researchers, many of whom come from outside the town. We also encourage schools to arrange visits and obtain one of our special Education Packs.

At long last the old premises of the Dorking Museum are going to be replaced by a really attractive building we can be proud of, and will put Dorking and its Museum truly on the map. It harmonises beautifully with its surroundings, and respects the historically industrial site. It also gives us a lot more space.

We need to raise some money, because we do not have enough. Can you help?

We hope that as many people as possible in Dorking and its surroundings will be able to contribute, so we can all think of it as our Museum. All donations will be acknowledged, a certificate suitable for framing, acknowledging you as a donor will be sent to you, and a permanent record of them kept on the Museum premises.
