Would you like to be Our Membership Secretary?
We need a new Membership Secretary.
Our existing membership secretary has moved away from Dorking. His successor will take over from him the records which show a complete list of members with their addresses and the dates on which their subscriptions have been paid. We receive most of these in January. Many of them are by bankers’ standing orders, details of which are printed in our bank statements. Others come in by cheque, which have to be paid in. During the year it becomes clear that some have forgotten and need to be reminded.
We ask the membership Secretary to prepare a short report in advance of the quarterly meetings of the Society’s Council, of which he will be a member.
